Four hits of a joint? How long ago? If you are a NON-smoker, and you take 4 hits of pot, it should be out of your system in 4 or 5 days. If you smoke 4 hits before the test, you will fail. BTW, the insurance company`s make a deal with the employers to give them a break on rates if they drug test employees. I have always felt this form of testing everybody is a total invasion of privacy. Its all BS down to the statistics of users. BS, BS, TOTAL BS!

yes, any amount will show up on a drug test, thats what theyre for (and it will show up for something like 40 days)

It probably depends on the size and if more preceded it. For example, was the joint the size of a Cuban Cigar? or have more than say an ounce of sticky, stinky, crystallized bud inside? then I`d say NO. Why? Because it was probably loaded with THC, which is what they are testing for! Think about it. What I can say is the testing area is going to be from your hair Follicle, ( the base of your scalp (head)) and beyond to 1 &1/2 inches. And the important part for you is head hair grows 1/2 inch per month , making the window around 90 days. If you smoked you joint in the last 30 days and it was a good sized joint, this non medical advice is you`d probably pass the urine test with a kit, but would fail the hair test. Hair shampoos? If a regular user, I`d say no, a light user probably. Others have also said head hair traces can stay in hair for 3, & 5 years, making anyone who used at anytime in past year freak out. One thing not to do the day of the test is do anything to raise suspicion of the lab, bringing in cold urine, if asking you to do multiple tests, shaving your entire body including pubic area ( a big deal if male), is a sure way of the testing agency to list you as positive even without collecting any information. The day of the test, just be a man or woman and take the test like a trooper! Hoe this was helpful PS: If all you got from this is to make your head hair no longer than 1/2 inch, because that`s going to be the "clean" part.... It also takes 4-10 days for the THC derivative (metabolite) to make it to your hair Follicle, causing a timing delay. In addition if they can find a BODY hair and inch and 1/2 long they`ll use that instead and you DON`T want that because body hair grows slower and will show more EVIDENCE! Bottom line. Company`s do drug tests to save money because insurance company`s give them discounts to do so. BECAUSE studies have shown that people who don`t use illegal drugs don`t get in as many accidents as those who do.

Do not do this. I was supposed to do the same thing for my parents. my name was going on because of finances and they said it was just for my income nothing else. Come to find out it was put on and they have not been paying the mortgage. now I am 22 and have to claim bankrupt because of it. DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!! the only option I have now is to let the house be forclosed on and sue my parents. i personally don`t know if i can sue them. GOODLUCK!
