Usually when you buy fish from the store they have a sticker on it "do not freeze" this is just a myth created by them. It greatly depends on how long the salmon pieces have been thawed out. If they have been thawed out for more then 15 minutes at room temperature or thawed out in the refrigerator for more then 2 hours, then you cannot refreeze them. Bacteria starts growing on any fish within minutes of being thawed out, if at room temperature. If in the refrigerator, bacteria starts to grow after 30 to 35 minutes, however since the refrigerator is cooler the fish is usually safe for about 2 hours without being cooked . If the fish has been thawed out longer then what I have stated above, then you must throw them away by the safest means possible without them putting an odor in your house. You can do this in several ways. For example; wrap them in plastic very tightly, put in bag and throw away. Wrap tightly in newspaper, put in bag and throw away.

Yes you can freeze salmon if it was ice stripped then its ok to freeze it and it was not out from the freezer for so long.

once,because freezing stops the Bactria form forming more, but as soon as u warm it up they start forming more so it would go bad
