Kirby | if you already have an ipod nano with a different size and it works good for you then why will you need it but if you don`t have any ipod nano then it all depend on what you are willing to pay, what you will planing to put in your ipod and what you will use the ipod for, if you where asking about two different types from the ipod any one can help you, but you ask about the same ipod only the different in the size, you can also decide that by checking the amount of money you are welling to pay in the ipod, and if you don`t buy it until now you can wait for the next generation from the ipod because it will be released soon

Why does my new ipod touch 32 gb skip and glitch during songs? i just got a brand new ipod touch 32 gb and some of the songs kind of glitch and jump around. the shuffle feature is turned off. the songs play fine in itunes. i read it is either because of the way it was encrypted, or worse it could be the hard drive having bad sectors. has anyone had this problem? how did you fix it? thanks!

my 8 gig does the same but you can turn off your iPod and restart it and it should work or you can even go back to the song after changing it. That might work but you might have to delete the song or update your ipod like they said but that shouldnt matter because updating your ipod wont update your songs unless theyre bought. So just restart it and give it a go, as a matter of fact, mine just did that a little ago, and did what i told you. works good.

Q. Can the i-pod touch 32 gig screen be replaced ? i bought the i-pod touch 32 gig ten days ago for my dauthers birthday.
some how the screen got a crack in it, went back to the *&&*& shop
and was told that they could not help me. not asking for them to replace or fix it for free, just need to know if it can be fixed ?

No, it is not necessary, it is not that much faster than a 8 or 16g ipod touch.
There is only like a 1-2 second difference when opening apps, and when you go on the internet there is only like a 1 second difference when going to a web page(it also depends on how many pictures or content the web page has on it)

When will apple lower the price of the new 32 gb ipod touch? it was just announced today that apple is releasing a 32 gb ipod touch, priced at $499. this is a little bit more than i wanted to spend on it. when might they lower the prices? or is flash memory so expensive that they won't be able to lower it for a while?
Um the price aint going down anytime soon. The next tiem you'll see any price drop is the next time they update their ipod line. They usually update in September or October so it's going to be at least another 7months. And when they do update the 32gb one that is out now will be "obsolete" so to say. There will be a 32gb model but it will have whatever improvements or updates apple plans to add which no one knows about yet. So when they do update the 32gb model will probably sell for $399..

Q. Is it worth getting an 8gb ipod touch or should i go for a 32? i wanted to get a 16 gb but i heard they dont make them anymore. i want to put about 800 songs in it but i also want to have some video and apps. is 8 gb really worth it or should i pay the extra $100 for the 32 gb ipod touch?
The differences worth taking between the 8GB and 32GB is the voice control and obviously more capacity. The 32GB actually lasts about 30 hours while the 8GB lasts like 36 hours (while listening to music).
I've got like 100 apps and are within 1GB in size. So, check if your songs and vids are less than 6GB. If it is, then the 8GB should be enough. The other 1GB is for things like notes, safari, contacts, etc. But if you're really looking forward to using the voice control then go for the 32GB.
