hi
well house copper wire can be bad at home. so it needs more attention form the house owners to fix it. copper wire can went bad when they are installed at home or in office . so it needs to repair the copper wire. Damage cooper wire can be caught up by the fire. so it needs to repair the damage cooper wire once in year to prevent the damage.
| | | Ask.Lee | "Can say if it is good or bad..."
The copper wires comes in a number of qualities and there a number of brands which claim that they offer the best wires. But there are a few points that you should keep in mind to check the quality of copper wire and can say if it is good or bad .
There should be excellent insulation so that they do not catch fire and the wire should be insulated with plastic coating to avoid earth.

 Q. I have a 1997 dodge intrepid how long would it take to fix the valve cover gasgets? i recently purchased a 1997 dodge intrepid, 3.5 v6 from a used car lot and i had the entire car looked over by my mechanic and he had stated it needed a valve cover gasget replacement. he said that everything else was done(tune up, trans oil/filter change, ect.) i'm also wondering what typic of gasget is better to use on that perticular model the rubber or the silicon, i'm just now thinking of going into the do-it-yourself stuff so i don't have to pay out of my rear for the labor lol can someone help me by telling me how long i would have to work on the valve covers cause i got to remove the plantum, and wires and a hose to even get at the suckers.
From the question I gather you are not a mechanic. I'm not either but go ahead just take your time as there are other parts that can be easily broken. It really should not take an inexperienced person much more than a couple of hours.I don't personally like silicone,I think the best bet is what it came with.

 Q. Life of compressor hoses too short, looking for the right type of hose. why dont these hoses last? compressor in question is a 1000cfm, 350psi. this compressor has an air temp of 150-200 f. air hose is flexible and moves up and down. the outer rubber cracks and ruptures and the inner rubber peels off and blocks the hose. it is a 4 wire braid hose and doesn't last longer than 100hrs. any help would be much appreciated. i need to know what hose will withstand these conditions.
check into teflon and silicon with steel or stainless covering

 Q. Sock stuck in my vacuum hose please help!? ok i have one of those central vacs systems with the long hoses mines is about 20 ft and i can't get the sock out i already tried the wire hanger method that was a fail because it got stuck as well and it took 30 min to get it out please help with any other methods.
Electrician's fish tape. They come in lengths up to 100 feet and the end is rounded so it is less likely to poke a hole in the thin plastic.
Could also try air compressor from the opposite end. If you take the end off of the hose, it would blow air and you could push it through. Just keep the pressure low enough to not blow a hole in the hose.

 Q. Wiring/cable boot cover on outboard motors - -? i feel stupid asking this question, having been a lifelong boater, i just don't know the proper term for this accessory but i can describe it and hopefully someone can tell me its "official" name so that i can try to find it for sale online or at boatersworld/etc - there is a flexible (usually black) plastic tubular cover that has ridges all around it, much like a slinky or an elecric dryer's flexible exhaust piping - it covers all the messy wiring, hoses and cables that come out of the front of your outboard motor, and usually just runs over to the side of the transom somewhere, where the wiring and cables drop inside the hull or flooring and go wherever they need to. my boat has a dealer installed mercury 135hp optimax outboard, but for some reason during installation, you can see where they took a razor and cut off the plastic cover at the front of the engine, probably so they could modify or work on the wiring for some reason. they should have really replaced the flex cover, and its been bugging me for a long time now - i am hoping these wiring covers have a cut underneath on the bottom so that you can just "pop" the cover over all your wiring (versus a solid piping that you'd have to disconnect every wire/cable from the engine and run each one thru the cover.) - any assistance on the name of this item and maybe where i could buy the covers online or at a boating store - thanks !!!
"It's called wire loom..."
It's called wire loom, and is available in many sizes at an auto or marine parts store. Yes, it is slit so you don't have to disconnect anything. Once you have it in place, fasten it with small wire ties or electrical tape.

 Q. Central vacuum systems are overpriced, is there a way to convert a shop vac to a central vac? like put it in a central closet or garage, and run hoses through the walls, and have it so it can be activated from the point of use (turned on). how would you wire it for that? my shop vac is so powerful, i could build a stand for it up off the ground, and run hoses somehow. the one that comes with it is not long enough, how could you adapt a hose length? i only want the simple fittings, nothing fancy. any ideas?
You would need a way to have covers/plugs for all the unused hose ends and a way to remotely turn on the vacuum unit; you might be able to do it with a replacement radio control set for a garage door opener (they sell the transmitter and reciever/ relay unit together as a kit). This would save running wires and switches to every hose outlet. If your motor is really powerfull, you might need to substitute a beefier relay on the reciever. I think you can buy bulk rolls of small 2-3" dia corrigated plastic drain line which would probably work for the tubing. (Dont get the perforated drain line of course!)

 Q. I need to craft realistic tenticals for a jellyfish from easy to get material. the bubble is crafted already.? i used a poly/nylon material over a properly shaped bowel and coated it with apoxy resin. with a little sewing and shaping it came out fine, the body is a clear soda bottle with this same materal for its legs in its proper shape. creating the tenticals is more difficult. i need to creat tubes that run to a point. i've tried glueing around shapes and sewing, the result is stiff and to time consumming. they are to be 32inches long. stretched plastic hose is a thought but not to promising. id like to stay light weight and with simalur materal and color. any ideas for easy flowing lightweight tubes!. ive been working on a life sized mermaid with octopuss and fish for 9mon. shes constructed from paper machia to an almost wood, with flowing hair coated with apoxy resin painted in fine detail. the octopuss is wire frame bendable, covered in cloth. each sucksion cup is hand made with a timely wrap and cap in verious sizes. 500 total. i would appreacieate any suggestions for realistic tenticles
How about some aquarium airline tubing. It comes in colors and different dia. and you can buy as many feet/meters as you need.

 Q. I have 1965 cadillac been sitting for long time whats best thing i can do for her? i have it running seems ok should i buy lead for gas or flush engine i changed oil put new water pump in changed hoses spark plugs wires
my ? is for internels of engine is there any flush or magic treatment i cleaned gas tank wheels are good its a hearse 21 feet 6or 7 k pounds yes it eats gas
I would for sure get a new set of tires before trusting it out on the road. Tire rubber can dry rot and even if it looks good, it may not stand-up under driving conditions.
Also, try and get ahold of a 1965 Cadillac Auto Repair Manuel (Chiltons or Edmunds). You may find it in the library or maybe Ebay. It will give you all the tune-up specifications and what to look for in giving the car a good once over inspection.
Good Luck, sounds like a good car to rebuild.
I bet it's a gas guzzler though, :) :)

 Q. How long to clean your rat's wire cage? seeing how large rat cages should be, i was wondering how long it took rat owners like you to clean it weekly.
please mention the following things-
how long it takes to wash the cage + accessories (weekly)
how you wash it (spray it with hose, wipe it down, etc)
what you clean daily (some rat owners do clean some parts of the cage everyday)
size of cage
type of cage (wire cage with wire floors, wire cage with solid floors, etc)
where you bought your cage (brand, which store)
accessories in the cage (wheel, nest, etc)
thanks!!
if you're going to say something bad about rats, then i have to say i'm surprised you even have a pet. (you are looking at pet forum section.) animals are animals: what makes a rat different from a dog. a stray dog found in the city is just the same as a "sewer" rat. both have diseases and dirty. if you give both a good home, food, and shelter, they can be wonderful pets. just because you don't know anything about rats, doesn't mean you have the right to say they're disgusting, diseased creatures. we would all prefer if you don't even talk.
"That guy lol second i have a wire cage that is about 100cm and..."
First off, omg you owned that guy LOL second i have a wire cage that is about 100cm and its too levels,,
the more levels you have the better because its making the best out of the space you have,,
ummm i would only spray the cage with a hose about every 3 weeks because usually all the urine and poops go through the wire bars and into the saw dust on the tray at the bottom which i clean weekly,,
if you are looking for a cage i suggest you get one with a LARGE tray at the bottom so it catches everything that the rats do or leave behind..
like the tray should have long sides that are longer than where the rats can get to,
umm it only takes about 20 mins to fully clean the cage including the accesories..
you really have to change the accesories that are in the cage alot because the rats can get bored with the same ones over and over again..
good things to have in the cage are a swinging bell from the ceiling of the cage ,
mineral licks to provide minerals for the ratties,
salt licks to provide all the rats salt it needs,
a hammock is good so there off bars which may make there feet sore,,
and provide a flat surface on the bottom like for example a bit of carbord.. not taking up the full bottom,, just something the rats can stand on fully,,
dont have solid floors though because rats pee can REALLY stink if its left on one surface and it cant get sucked up by saw dust or anything like that.
i would try a wheel because it gives the rats exercise but make sure you introduce it too them early because then they know its for running , not laying on
i bought my cage from pet magic but therres better prices at better pets and gardens ,, mine was $99

 Q. How to get rid of rotting food in the car sill? i have a nissan micra which has a welded sill.
we had a mouse, (long gone), who kindly packed the sill with peanuts. these are now rotting. we have managed to scrape out most of it, as it is now a thick sticking sludge which is attracting flies.
does anyone have an idea how to remove the sludge, without cutting open the sills. there is an electrical cable, so i am loathed to use boiling water or steam, unless you know otherwise. we can get access to the sill via a hole slightly larger than the diameter of a hose pipe, by which we have used rags on wires to get the worst out, and have used to funnel to flush the sill in warm water which drains out of the drainage holes, but this doesn't really touch it.
any ideas
have already tried bleach, but we really need to get the sludge out.
cannot fill up the sill, although i have given it some serious thougth, until i realised that the purpose is also a rainwater drainage one. may do this if we sell it...
we believe the electric cable is part of the car alarm which was installed later.
we have managed to adapt a hoover head and have sucked out all the loose peanuts, and the runnier sludge, but what is left is like peanut butter, only smells rather more disgusting.
cutting torch.
