The job will depend as much on who you know and how far from civilisation you are as the actual work you want done. Make sure you get someone who is willing to listen to what you want and check that they will earth the cables and place them inside the walls - more expensive , but a lot safer. Many electricians in Turkey still think it's fine to just screw an extension cable to the wall and take some more plugs (or even another extension cable) off that. I would second you taking your own professional with you, but they may be shocked by what they find, although large DIY stores (Bauhaus, Praktiker and Koctas in particular) will provide all the materials they would need.

possibly buying a house. it has an updated electrical panel. they did not finish the electric, thats as far as they got. anyone got a cost estimate to wire the house from there. it is 2 stories. 900 sq ft per floor. all i need is a ballpark guess. to pay an electrician and also to diy (my bf is able to do it). k more detail. it is 100 year old house. we are ripping out all the lathe and plaster walls so it shouldn't be too big of a deal to wire it, especially since the panel is done and it is hooked to the outside source.

Thats pretty much impossible to estimate. Every house is different. Is there wallboard? It's very hard to run wiring if it's not open studs. but not impossble. If you do your own wiring, (I do) the cost of materials is only about 20 - 30 % compared to hiring it out.

for electric heat to work, your house should be well insulated. electric heat is not the most cost efficient, as the heating elements do not retain heat. now to your question, it really depends on the size of the house. you are probably looking at about 5-6 thousand dollars. again, there are many things to be considered. size of the house, current electric service capability....all electric will require a minimum of 200 amp service. just shop around a have a qualified person do the job.

It depends on if this is new construction or it you are adding on to an extisting room. Very little time for an experieced electrician to put this in if its new, but if its an existing room already drywalled then you can expect a lot for labor involved trying to get through walls and ceilings. A guy who works on the side will probably charge $35 an hour. I know of guys who charge about $4 -$5 a sq. ft. for new construction and that includes the material. Not knowing the size of the room, the outlets, boxes, will run about $5, the wire you can expect to pay maybe $3.50 a foot in boxes of 25'. 50', or 100'. I'd also use 12/2 wire, but that's just my preferance.
