"The ipod does this and a simple reset will do the trick..." If the files are on iTunes, then you should easily be able to reset the unit and start over. Sometimes, the iPod does this and a simple reset will do the trick. But you will lose all info on your iPod in the process. So, as long as you have all the files on iTunes, you should be ok.
