You can`t. Microsoft has removed the ability to have a single web cam streaming in Messenger 2011 . Your only option now is to use Video Call.

under your name you can drop down a menu, where you can choose how to appear online, offline, etc. There, jus click on "show the menu bar", now you able to choose "Actions -> video -> start a video call".

Go to Tools > Set up Audio and Video devies > Next > From the dropdown menu of Cam choices, select Disable and save :)

Disabale the Automatically detect settings in IE8 did the trick Goto: Tools / Internet Options Go to Connections TAB Click LAN Settings Button -> will get a dialog box where you can enter proxy server details Disable -> Automatically detect settings Ok, Ok -> There is a result immediatly

As others have said, they have removed it. Now theres webcam call ONLY. Heres the way to fix it.: 1: COMPLETELY uninstall all your live essensials. ( and i DO MEAN everything ) 2. download and install this http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SO17A4MF and then u have 2009 again, with webcam.

I previously found the hiding spot so she move them, I was just outside the door when this took place, so she had only her room to hide them in. Any suggestions, we have 2 nightstands, 2 armrores (big wardrobe thing, couple mini desks, 2 closets ones my dads and hard to get into, my moms(neat and orderly) and they have a large bathroom.PS my mom is handicapped so it couldnt be more than 4 or 5ft high.

I did exactly what the person said to do above and the icon is still showing up that I have webcam to others. This is annoying me!
