Kindra | "If you want to have your electric in shed then remember that this..."
if you want to have your electric in shed then remember that this can be dangerous if you take this thing light. you can use the extension to bring eletricity in shed but only placing the extension is not sufficient because it can make some trouble in the future.you should use the plastic wire to place and organise the extension cord for that and thats the safe way so that it may not make problems for you in the future. if you have any doubts of placing electric to your shed then bring and electrician and he would do it accordingly. the council hired contractors do the job but i've heard from people, that they've had quite a lot of complaints about there work. please give me some hope.

 Q. Does anyone know how much it costs to have the electrics checked out in a house? - i am in the process of buying a house. the home buyer's report from the surveyor is saying we should have the electrics "checked out." does anyone know how much something like this would cost? even a rough estimate would be handy.
thank you.
You need a home inspector. A home inspector will not only inspect your electrical system but all important aspects of your new home that you may not have been aware of. I bought a brand new, never lived in, freshly built house and I hired a home inspector for about $300.00, in the New Mexico market. This is no guarantee that he will find everything but he or she will catch a lot of the real important stuff that will save you a lot of grief later on. For example our inspector found that the air conditioner had not been bolted to the concrete slab outside the house. Nor had the wires and cooling pipe running through the attic been strapped down to the house structure. We would have heard vibrations all through the house when the air conditioner was running and the air conditioner could have slid off its foundation and brokent the cooling lines connecting the air conditioner to the furnace blower motor area. Electrically he found switches improperly and hurriedly connected so that we would have been constantly replacing light bulbs in one particlar socket. It was money well spent on a brand new home. The builder grumbled and objected but we held his feet to the fire and said we would not finalize the sale until these and several other items were fixed.

 Q. How do you clean a nostalgia electrics chocolate fondue fountain? - i borrowed a nostalgia electrics chocolate fondue fountain for a party and i would like to clean it before returning it but can not figure out how to take it apart. can anybody help me with this? it has a stainless steel base and the fountain parts are plastic. i believe there is one black spinning deal in the middle that needs to come out to be cleaned. any help with this would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
You can try looking on their website: http://www.nostalgiaelectrics.com/default.asp?c=6
Or ask the people you borrowed it from. I have a popcorn popper from that company but I've never had to clean it other than just wiping it off with a towel.

 Q. Why do my electrics randomly keep turning off and i have to flip the switch on the fuse box to start again? - every so often could be once every three months or even twice in one day the electrics in my house just cut out for no apparent reason. why?
Earth or neutral fault.
In your case as it is very intermittant it may even be a case of a swapped neutral in the consumer unit.

 Q. How do i connect the electrics from the car to a towbar? - i have got a tata safari and im needing to put a towbar on it.
how do i connect the electrics from the safari to the towbar?
the company i have got a towbar from has said you can fit it yourself.
You have to have it done professionally. They will fit a special plug next to the towbar which will take the cable from the trailer, and it makes the trailer's lights work and will make a noise in the car to let you know it is working (i.e. when you put indicators on).

 Q. Looking for instructions how to work electrics in a ford transit motorhome? - we have a ford transit motorhome n reg and are finding it difficult to work the electrics e.g t.v kettle if we are on a site without electric hook up there is a second battery but don"t know what to do to keep a charge in the battery
hi there you should have an inverter to convert 12volt to mains voltage there should be a switch to tell you when inverter is on, as to second battery if you are on a site without mains electricity then you can only charge your battery by running your engine, and if the inverter is worked off your second battery then if it is a small wattage inverter then you cannot run much as the battery willl run flat quickly,, jock
