If want to look throgh your webcam from another computer then you have to start video chat using your webcam and they the person on the computer will be able to see you on his computer even if he doesnt have webcam. some times webcam doesnot display clear images in computer because of network problem. for the picture you have adjust webcam accordingly. The first one is a free program called F.lux. When the sun sets, the program changes your computer`s "color temperature" to a temperature that is more comfortable on the eyes. You`ll need to give it your location so that it knows the time of sunset for you. It also serves as a reminder for the magrib prayer. :) When the color changes, you know it is time to pray. The second program is also free and it is called MonitorBright. I found that f.lux helps but my monitor still stayed a little too bright. Therefore I now use this program to decrease brightness. Once you download it and open it, right click on its taskbar icon and enter a percentage (such as 20%). The bigger the percentage, the darker your screen will become.

I am pretty sure your web cam does not have its own IP address, as it does not have its own network card. It should be the same as the IP address of your computer, which you can get from http://www.whatismyip.com/ . I have an Advent flat screen TV which I use as a monitor. I installed a trial version of Win 7 and it worked so well I bought the same again in a 64 bit system instead of the 32. I have a Gigabyte GA-7ZMMH motherboard with 6GB RAM. Problem is that on the odd occasion the screen starts to display flashing geometric shapes of colour. I can usually hit the start or WINkey and restart the computer with no problems. Is this a screen incompatibility or what? Windows identifies the screen but does not report a problem.
