The debt WILL overtake the GDP within 18 months at current levels.
At that point the US will officially be in a spiral of debt, the interest rates on the debts will rise, making the debt grow at faster rates, which in turn means to service the debt the government has to borrow more. More borrowed debt means the interest continues to rise, which in turn means you have to borrow more and so on and so on.
The only way out will be public spending cuts on a vast scale, which in turn will lead to a surge in unemployment, contraction of the economy, increased prices on even basic stuff (Oil, Food etc)
possibly a noticeably reduced military, perhaps the total and final destruction of the automobile industry, a damaged agricultural sector, a shrunken industrial sector, damage to banking (due to the dollar being a unchecked slide) the retail and service sectors suffer etc, etc
It is unlikely that any major cuts will happen before 2012, (which almost certainly guarantees the debt spiral will happen) after the election either the current President safe in his last term starts the process of cutting or he hands over a very poisoned chalice to the next incumbent (who will almost certainly end up a one term president thanks to the cuts he will have to make).

hey there are many ways by which you can fund your education.
1. scholarships: depends on your overall profile includes academic, WE, GRE etc... having a good SOP and LOR will increase the chances of getting scholarships. chances of getting scholarships are high as comparatively to other countries.
2. apply for loan...loan upto 4 lacs need no guaranteer, upto 7 lacs need guaranteer but no collateral means no security and education loan more than 7 need collateral of value more than 150% the amount of loan request. means you can get a loan of 14 or something lacs on ur home. ask bank people or check sites.

Why are the democrats in congress introducing another amnesty bill for illegals for the beginning of 2010? let me make a clear point here economic treason has been cast upon several generational americans since 1985 with legal immigration! usa thanks to the federal govt has granted more citizenship then any other country.
why you might ask
because of behind closed door dealing from business/employers who want to crush the several generational american workers ability to increase wages or organize unions etc.
the federal govt has been subsidizing these employers "using tax payer money" for food stamps/housing/business loans etc that go directly to the immigrants. yet several generational americans can not have the same equal access to this form of subsidizing.
so those with media propaganda sway parroting illegal illegal it ain't just illegals it is "legal immigration shoving several generation americans out of the money loop and the businesses that participated in collaboration with our run-away federal govt.
The dems are crazy...and driving us into the ground. WE HAVE GOT TO STOP THIS CRAP!
