Q. Unsecured loan offer?
i saw the ad on kijiji awhile back and i decided to e-mail this person/company. i later researched that unsecuredloanoffer@live.com was blacklisted. the e-mail they were using was unsecuredloanoffer@hotmail.com which is pretty much the same thing. has anyone else dealt with these people before? i know most of these scams ask for money, but they have not asked me for anything yet. i am still weary. please give me some feedback if anyone has had any experience with this company. thanks.

K-Luv is right. Try a bank or credit union. I do NOT have any knowledge of this offer nor the party making it. I read the risk as high. (IMO) It could be phishing for your personal info. That is far more risky than sending them money.

i'm so worried and stuck, i don't know what to do .... d: you don't have to read all of this, there's just a paragraph about the situation and then you can just skim over his emails if you like. it started when i joined e-pal about a year or more ago, which is where you make pen pals and keep in touch through emails. anyway i met one 17/18 year-old guy from ghana. he seemed ok, but kind of conservative. after the first few emails he asked to keep in touch through snail mail and gave me his address, but i didn't want to do it for security reasons. i can't remember why, but we stopped emailing, i think i just got too lazy and didn't reply. about a year later (a few weeks ago) he sent me an email on the 3rd of october wanting $700 for computery school which he couldn't afford. then on the 12th october he sent another email wanting $5000 for a taxi service. on the 15th he sent yet another email literally begging for the money (the whole message was upper-case), saying how he knows i'll send the money. he wasd desperate. you don't have to read them all, just skim over them like i said, but just so you get an idea of what he's like, here are the emails: saturday, 3 october 2009: hello, i am much more greatful to send you this mail and i hope that you and the family are all doing well and things are moving on well with work. its a long time i have write to you.its a long story .my mother have ordered some goods from china and due to the global meltdown she could not raised money for the declaration of the goods .she have tried hard to get loans form bkans ,but to no avail.i'm also be admitted to the computery school,but due to this she could not send me. i am very sure that guess that ,you will be able to the the fund for her to clear the goods and refund your money for you after all . its not only a matter of her suffering for my school need too.i beg you in the name of jesus please .the money needed is $700 for that and i hope you will do that please. your son manaf monday, 12 october 2009: hello, i know you and all your aquaintance are all doing well and better there. i am well here as well as the weather and things are also well as well as school and other social aspects of my life. its a emergency call to my mail and i know you are going to here it i n the best of manners. its about a personal challenge in which i am in great help of you. know here is a business in ghana which is going on well and it is the taxi business. people make million out of it and i have tried hard to get money to get into that business but i cant.its just the figure of $5,000 and i know with much respect that you will get that money for me.i stop here with much regards and i blissfully know you will give me the money. thursday, 15 october 2009: i know you are well there and things too are moving on smothly fo you and the basic aspects of your vicinity.i am well here and things are well with i and my entire family here. its about the request i posted to you the other day about the money.you know ghana is know a developed country andi need the money to start the taxi business right away.i am much sure that the first mail you read ,you way preparing to send the monet t me and i know now you have acquire the money gallantlly.i know by crock-crow you will get the money ready and ready for sendin.may god help you the money earlier for my disposal.have a great time there. by this stage i am really scared. i can't just ignore the emails anymore, this is getting out of hand. besides, my family can't afford to send $5000 plus $700 to send to a total stranger. this is through hotmail, could i block him somehow?! should i reply explaining why i can't send the money? please help me, i don't know what to do. i can't tell my parents, they'll think i've gotten into all sorts of trouble on the internet and i don't know what they'll think of me then. they'd take the computer out of my room. please help me, sorry this is so long!! :(

Um, just tell him you have your own life to worry about, and ignore all further e-mails if this persists. He has no right, as does anyone else to be begging for money. If he really needs it THAT bad, he would have found another job to start saving. Heck, in a couple months alone i earned over 1.8 k painting houses, im sure he can find a job that suits his needs if he needs it that bad.

Don't send any money. It's a scammer and an embarassment to my country, since all people know about Ghana these days are internet scams. In Hotmail next time he sends an email don't open it. Click on the box next to it then click on the Mark As tab at the top then Phishing Scam. This will prevent future messages from reaching you. Also in your Inbox on the right click on Options, then More Options, then under Junk email click on Safe and Blocked Senders, then Blocked Senders, then enter his email address then click Add to List. Anything from him will be deleted
