I seriously advice you to give up on this kind of business. You have to think that people who prefer private loaners are people refused by banks. Which means they don`t actually have the means to pay you back. Even if you still sue them in the end there is the high probability that you won`t get your money back. Q. Need info about a private student loan. 10 points!!!?
my dad is going to co-sign on a private student loan for me because i cannot get financial aid anymore. something happened because i changed my major and i already took out money for another major, it was something about some 150% rule. i tried to get the restriction lifted but they would not :( so i need a private student loan for about 7,500.00 the only issue is that i live in another state and i will be moving back home, and might not be able to find a job for a while. so when we apply, i will have no income, and i am wondering if that will go against me. also, my dad will be the one consigning and he only makes about 1500 a month, but he has no debt really. he owns his car, his house payment is only 200 a month and i think he has a credit card that he pays 100 a month on. how likely will it be that i get a loan through a bank? also, i will not be needing it for a year or 2, so when do i apply for it? is it like the fafsa, to where you have to apply and use the funds during the specific academic year? for example, can i apply for a student loan tomorrow and not use it for 2 years, or do i have to use it for the academic year of 2009-2010? thanks for the help!!! and please, no spam! i hate it when people say the same script cut and paste and use these fake names.

NO, you cannot apply for a loan and not use it for 2 years! It would need to be applied for and approved within 90 days of your being accepted and enrolled in the school. And parents are marvelous as co-signers, if your dad has good credit you will be likely approved. I'd try banks and credit unions where your dad has done business with in the past first.

well let me start from the begining i meet this girl 3 years ago i was 30 and she was 27 she was married at the time but told me she was having problems with her marriage so me being me a decent guy didnt take this as a opertubitity to step in as i had only known her 2 weeks and wasnt that type of guy to ruins peoples lifes like that she had been with this guy for 9 years and married for 2 years but she told me after 2 or 3 weeks that i had changed her mind on things and she didnt want to be with him but be with me wow i waas amazed she was cute pretty and i was overwhelmed i guess so i said tto her she should discuss things with her husband first to which she said no i think we are over confussed....so was i lol anyway within 3 weeks she had left her husband and moved in at my mom and dads with me wow i thought madness but so much fun dont forget i had only known her 3 weeks so this was crazy......anyway getting more to my point thats just the background on us in jan 2010 the 2nd to be infact that morning after her kicking me out on dec 28th 2009 and asking me to come back cause she really really loves me and misses me take in mind she kicked me out cause i didnt want to stay at a party with our 13 month old baby girl who was 7 weeks prem drinking all night i wanted to go home and put her in bed and me and her drink and have fun at home when baby was in bed also it was 10 pm at night and we had been there since 6.30 pm so i think we socailezed enough haha anyway i went back then left on jan 2nd cause she was being funny with me bascailly i wanted to give her space to breath expecting to be back in a day or 3 i went to my moms all the time missing them both like mad i need to make this short cause its just too painfully hurting bascailly i left and she never took me back for no reason then she had me warned under harressment act for sending txts to ask why i couldnt come home to my family and that i loved them both and missed them both ( *** crazy) then i found out within less then 2 weeks she had another guy staying over at our house in our bed to which she is still with for 3 months now also she hasnt contacted me let me see teh baby for 13 weeks now nothing what happened anyone apart from teh ovboiuis i mean how does a girl you spend 3 yrs with have a lovely baby with you do everything provide take care feed love cherish do this to a guy then after you leave harrsess warn you for no reason then get a new b/f and totally ditch you and call u names to idot get lost off etc etc im trying to understands i just cant what do people make of this please any advice will help she has bascailly denied me any access for 13 weeks knowing i was great with te baby also even telling the police i was a fantastic dad and couldnt ask for better ???? can anyone help any girls shed any light on why a women would turn that way /????? * 2 days ago additional details no they had no children its just me and her that had a little girl and shes only 16 months old now and for no reasons even in a police statement she said im the best dad in the world and love his daughter she has not contacted me or ask would i like to see her for 13 weeks no of course i cant make contact to ask because she put a flase harressment warning on me so i couldnt do that and so i could not interfere with her new realtionship also did i meantion that i took out a 10 thousand pound loan to kit the home out with nice items which she has just took and refused to give me any cash for the items or anything which is not importentent its just how shes done it that all in the police statement she said i just want to get on with my life with ashley which to me is amazinzing beacuse almost every day or two she would ask me to marry her and say please dont leave me etc etc and will you get enagedd to me even the week before i left she said all that to me so confussed what do you think then today she txt me asking for money for baby so i gave her 40 pounds and now i ask after it seemed like we was talking is there any hope for the future and she said no what do i do ??

She did the same exact thing to her husband before you, what did you expect? Never start a relationship with someone who has to screw over someone else to be with you, because they will do it to you too. Lesson learned, move on.

what comes around goes around. Didn't you ask yourself these questions when she left her husband of 9 years why she would just turn that off and move in with someone she had only known 2 weeks? I think you got used. She got exactly what she needed from you, a way out, money, a fresh start. It does not sound like she ever truly loved you, the words were just words to keep you satisfied. Now you need to get your head out of the clouds and get some legal help because you have allowed a child to get mixed up with this crazy woman. You should have receipts for what you paid for, use those to get your things back. You are not married so if she is in your house put her out. And file for legally for visitation rights and child support before she does. Stop giving her money until you start seeing results that benefit you. And if you do give her anything, keep records of it all so you don't get taken in court.
