A dealership makes more money when you finance. Paying cash is not doing them any favor at all. So there`s no incentive for them to lower the price. Cash customers are not the preferred buyers and will not see a significant price advantage compared to a customer with good credit. However, if you pay cash, you`ll save on taxes and some dealers will give better deals. Paying cash will let you take advantage of the lower initial cost. Peter Unger.
