Regarding my return and my son`s ( he is 3 years old ) return to the U.K. as dependents? - Hello and A pleasant day to all of you out there. My question is like this, I have been away from the U.K. since march of 2010. I went back to the philippines with our baby boy ( who is now 3 years old ). My wife who works as a senior care assistant in the U.K. ( she is originally from the philippines ), is now a U.K. resident. Me and my son are now planning to go back to the U.K. to join my wife so that we can move on with our life as one whole family again, in the U.K. that is. My question is , will myself and my 3 year old son be able to go back to the U.K. without any issues or problems ( considering that we left the U.K. since march of 2010 ) ? What is the maximum length of time, that as dependents, we are allowed to stay outside the U.K. and be able to return to the U.K. without any issues or problems, in so far as returning to the U.K. is concerned?
