Check with your homeowner's insurance to see if it is covered in case of theft.
As far as "breaking," you can get Apple Care, the official extended warranty plan.

That's not what insurance is. Apple doesn't sell accidental damage coverage. Best Buy and other resellers do. You'll have to buy an extended service plan with accidental damage coverage.

Apple Insurance only covers repairs, damage and replacement, not against theft. but i would try it anyway, sometimes the employees are real nice or don't care and they may give it to you at a reduced price of 100 dollars. All they have to do is type a different code into the system. So its worth a try, can't hurt :)

Can i get an htc touch pro 2 if i break my htc touch original and have the insurance? i have the first htc touch pro from verizon and bought the insurance. verizon no longer carries the htc touch pro only the new 2nd additon. if i break my phone and pay the deductable, will they give me an htc touch pro 2 because they no longer carry the older phone?
They most likely will still carry re-furbished Touch Pro's. You could probably call Customer Service and pay the difference between the two phones but that will be something you have to set up with them.
So basically the answers is most likely not. You will probably end up with a re-furbished Touch Pro as a replacement unless set up with Verizon otherwise.

Is there any way to get my lg voyagers touch screen fixed after cracking on the inside without insurance? i pulled my older (the gray one) lg voyager cell phone out of my pocket and the touch screen cracked somehow and now i cannot read the screen at all. it looks like a spiderweb of black and different colors. i didnt buy insurance, but the phone is only two months old for me. can i get it fixed by lg or verizon without having to pay a bunch, somehow make it defective in another way or something?
verizon yes. LG no. take it back to the retailer and tell them you need it fixed they will take it in and give you a "refurbished" one for maybe 50. or they might give you a new one if your lucky!
