Whoever made up the post at the top is a liar, that's not true, and furthermore, can't be held up in a court of law. Yes it may have been a threat, but it was a threat on a personal page and it's not pre-meditated murder until you actually murder someone. Conspiracy to commit murder usually comes from a failed attempt, not a facebook status update. Plans would have to be found, analyzed, and proven to be legitimate and able to be carried out, plus it would have to be proven she actually was going to go through with this. Even if this was true, i've been a waiter for the past 6 years and even I could've gotten her off on a charge like this. It's a hoax, don't believe a word, and don't click on it!

she basically threatened to murder the principal, and the principal saw it, and told her not to bother coming back. the status also included her saying she`d slit the principals neck, and watch & laugh as she spewed blood.

It depends if your daughter is paying rent, how much her income is, and if she keeps her food separate from yours. If she is paying you rent (and don`t worry, no one comes knocking down your door about tax issues ok) then she needs a rent letter from you stating that she is living there and renting a bedroom or basement apartment, whatever, and how much she is paying. You don`t really even need to specify that you are a relative, because this is a business /landlord-tenant relation. Now if she were to live with you and not pay rent, due to lack of or no income at all(child support,earnings,ect.) they are going to want to know who pays her bills and how much. Shortly after losing my job, I moved to a family friends room for rent, at the time the state wanted to know how I was paying. I was working for the person by doing yard work and errands (cooking/cleaning/grocery store trips,ect.) and they were keeping track of how much I owed and I would be paying them back with my income tax money, when I received it. They were ok with this. It must have an address, name, and contact phone number to call and verify this info. Here is a link to see what qualifies and what does not as in payment/earning/family size.
