TheLML | hey, nothing happened to it, it`s still suppossed to come out by fall of this year, even though there have been no official announcements about the release date by apple, as of now, rumours, and speculations, based on the experience from the past years count for it to be comming out this september, some even say early september, however, those are not confirmed by apple in any way, as they made no statement about the release date as of now.

 Q. Why does my itouch's sound come out of both headphones and speakers? the sound on my 3g itouch comes out of both my headphones and the speaker, the first time this happened it went back to normal over time, now its not going back, anyone know what's causing this/how to fix it?
I have the same problem, it's there then it's not, is your iPod jailbroken, mine is and I'm wondering if that caused it

Q. Are they gonna be upgrading the itouch anytime soon? because i was planning to buy one with my graduation money... but i don't wanna waste my money if they come up with a better newer version of the itouch. it happened with one of my friends and i don't want that to happen with me.
so anything you know about them coming up with a better version with help!

Just because a newer version of something comes out, doesn't mean the previous version isn't great. Isn't it iPod Touch, not iTouch? Did you know that when you buy a new computer, that it's pretty much out dated by the time you get it home and out of the box? This is quite true. There would be no sales if people were afraid there might be an upgrade. Have you gone to the Apple site? I get email notices from Apple whenever there's a new product or upgrade about to be released. I've seen nothing about the iPod Touch, which doesn't mean there might not be an upgrade next month, or in the next few months, etc. There is no magical way of guaranteeing you get the latest. Personally, I wouldn't order anything like that online. Go to an Apple store (or Apple reseller if there's no Apple store near you), and inquire there. That way, if you have any other questions, you can ask the experts. You will ALWAYS get answers at an Apple store.

Q. How to fix a broken itouch? so i tried to jailbreak my itouch and while in the process, something happened and now whenever i turn on the itouch, all these codes come up, like different letters ad numbers. i tried to turn it off but it nothing happened. i can show you a picture if you would like to see it. thanks!
take it to the store that sold it to you they will fix it for free if it is still under warrenty... i think that lasts for one year

Q. After downloading the new 3.1.3 software onto my itouch, my blackra1n and cydia apps are gone. what happened? i plugged my jailbroken itouch into my computer to charge it. a window came up while i was syncing to itunes, saying that new software was available to download. i agreed, and let the software download.
i come back, after the software finished downloading, and checked my itouch. everything was the same, except that blackra1n and cydia was removed from my device.
when i attempted to jailbreak my itouch again, using blackra1n again, itunes thought my device was in recovery mode, even after roughly 10 minutes of the download on a fast connection, and blackra1n never quite finished downloading, and itunes kept thenking my itouch was in recovery mode. i pulled the plug on both my device, and the blackra1n download. i turned on my itouch after the plug was pulled, and my itouch was perfectly fine, along with all the apps i downloaded from cydia.
my question to you is this; what happened to my itouch? do i need to wait until a new jailbreak is released? am i downloading something wrong?

you got rid of the jailbreak software and yes you need to wait till the new jailbreak is out. when you sync the ipod it replaces all old software with the new one. never sync it when its jailbroken unless you want to do it again

Pls help me, the game that i downloaded from itunes stopped loading in my itouch. i waited it for one day!? the game in my itouch came out and it said that i was loading, but it wasn't and it just stopped, but the it still said that it was loading, but nothing happened. what should i do!!! thanks
iv had that same problem. it sucks cause you cant erase it. you just have to wait it out and see if it finishes. thats what i did.

Q. How to restore itouch after jailbreak? i jailbroke my itouch (1st gen.) and everything was fine i decided to reset the ipod on the actual device in order to sell it. the resetting went as normal but when i rebooted the ipod, the pineapple came up and nothing else happened. its stuck on the pineapple screen what do i do?
plug it up to itunes and click restore NOT update and it will restore it to its original settings.

Q. How come my itouch safari goes to the mobile version of the websites? ex. msn mobile, friendster mobile, etc.? it never happened before and it only started after i restored my itouch.
even though you have safari on your phone the browser is still different, its not the same as having safari on a mac it is still just a mobile browser so not all websites will load the same.. for example, I have a windows mobile device and I cannot access my yahoo mail normally it makes me go into yahoo mobile. I assume that it can tell by the IP Address.

Q. Why is my itouch not finding internet connection? it shows that's it's connected to my network but it can't find the internet connection. this has happened before but i went away for a few days and when i came back it was working again. now it's doing the same thing. is it the itouch or my network?
It might just be your router, I would try it on another wireless network and see if it has the same problem. If it does have the same problem it means it's the iPod Touch that's having the problem, if it works it's your network/router that's the issue. I would try turning my router on and then off, or even replacing it. Hope this helps.
