 Q. Should i buy and ipod touch or ipod nano? i would either buy the 5th generation 16gb ipod nano (with a camera) or the 8gb ipod touch.
the ipod touch doesn't have a camera, but has built in wi-fi and a larger screen.

Q. What do you think i should buy, an ipod nano or ipod touch? i have an old ipod but i want a new one, i have my eye set on the ipod touch. we are going to sydney soon and we are going to the apple store as it will be cheaper than in places like big w and harvey norman (we checked there)

the ipod touch is really cool but unless you have a ton of music and apps the 32 gb is i little to much for the money. I had an 8 gb and loved it I had a lot of music and some apps, I have the iphone now because i loved the ipod so much. so to sum up sell the nano and buy and iphone but if you don't get an iphone the get the 8 gb

Can i exchange my 3rd generation nano ipod for an ipod touch with my 2 year warranty at best buy? my nano is in good shape it has no scratches and everything. but i really want an ipod touch and i still have the 2 year warranty i got for it at best buy. do you think they will let me exchange it for an ipod touch if i pay a little extra money even though it's not broken?

madame,, therez a difference in warranty and guarantee,,,
When you say its warranty,, it means,, if anything happens to your ipod in a specific time,, they would repair your stuff without taking service charges..
When you say guarantee,, over there,, your product gets replaced with a new one,, if anything happens to that product.
So when you say,, you have 2 year warranty,, you are given only servicing free of cost..
In any case you do not get an entirely different product in exchange....
Therefore am sorry,, your 3rd generation nano ipod cannot be exchanged with itouch now...

Guys the new nano's have a camera... it was anounced today.... They got alot of upgrades... And no there arent 16GB ipod touchs anymore they got rid of them... There is only 8 32 and 64gb now
I would still get the ipod touch tho. The screen is much larger, and it can go on the internet and use many man more apps.. Ive held the nano's in my hand in the ipod store... The screen is very small.. Of course the newer nano's have a bigger screen then the older ones but still..

since i got a new laptop i dont really need the internet or apps of the ipod touch so i was wondering if i could go to best buy and trade it in for an ipod nano. would that be a good idea?

You can't trade it for another iPod but you can get some money off of it. If you go to their website they have a recycling program where you can fill out a form describing your iPod and they give you a value on it and you can bring it to the best buy or mail it in and you can get some money that you could use for an iPod nano. Or you could try a friend and see if they want to trade (I'm sure they would take an iPod touch over a nano).

touch. i have a nano chromatic and for likke 60 buxx more, i could get internet, email, music, games, and a WHOLE lotta apps.
the nano chromatic is good, but you can only listen to music and play games/ watch movies you bought.
