Apple always launches their products in September second week.So most probably this year also they launch ipod nano in September.The new nano must have some amazing features.new nano will have more memory,good battery back upand good sound .so wait till september for the release of new nano. If it does get released, I wouldn't buy it because it looks really dodgy. And I prefer the bigger screen for apps and stuff.

I LOVE tata's! And who doesn't? As to whether or not they will get some in SA is beyond me. But I can't imagine having to pay for them.

I am not sure if the volume is lower, but I do know that on the 2nd gen you can change the highest volume setting. It is a setting used mostly by parents to control the max volume of the ipod so that kids dont hurt their ears.

Q. How soon, if ever, do you think a 32gb ipod nano 4th generation will b released?
i really want to get the new nano for my birthday in a month and 16 gigs is ok, but i would really like 32. does anyone think that apple will up the storage by christmas or should i just get the 16 gig version in october? p.s. which color should i get? the black or the product (red) version?

Well, you can never know for sure, but, I REALLY doubt that they'll have 32GB by then... You can wait if you want, but, that's just my opinion. Hmm...Red or Black, it's up to you. I like both colors. Oh, and if you buy a red one, part of the money goes to charity... :P

yes they're available now. the 8 GB is running around 150, whereas the 8 GB 3G nano ran around 200. the 16 GB nano runs around 200. they come in nine different colors: pink red blue green black gray orange yellow and purple
