Ricky | Q. Is there an ipod nano 32gb or do i have to settle for the ipod nano 16g?
At this very moment, there isn`t a 32GB iPod nano. It`s probable that there will be one in September, but right now that`s based more on logic than anything we know. Apple usually refreshes iPods in September, and usually doubles their capacity at the same time.

Stacy | Q. Is there an ipod nano 32gb or do i have to settle for the ipod nano 16g?
There`s no 32gb of ipod nano, it`s just either 8 or 16 gb for ipod nano. But for ipod touch, it`s either 16 or 32, which is more expensive. If you`d really want everything to fit in, go for the 32. But if you can rely in the 16 gb of ipod nano and jsut change your ipod library everytime, i suggest you just buy 16. It really depends if you just want the ipod for the music, ipod nano is ok, while ipod touch has a lot more apps that`s why it`s more expensive. I want to get the biggest badest ipod nano there is. I listen to a lot of different artist and i have a huge music library. I have about 20 gig of songs so the ipod nano 16GB isn`t going to cut it. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Mervin | Q. Is there an ipod nano 32gb or do i have to settle for the ipod nano 16g?
We will just have to look elsewhere for 32Gb nano sized players,
Sony x series, samsung, toshiba all spring to mind.
When I discovered apple were not doing a 32gb Nano I went straight for the Sony x series, its very nice, touch screen and physical buttons (so you can use it blindly in you pocket)

 Q. Ipod nano? oky, so i am about to sell my mp3 player and get a ipod instead. but i can't decide whether to buy the ipod nano 2nd generation or the ipod nano 3rd generation. i've heard that the 3rd generation is wide and feels awkward in the hand. but then again i've heard the price of the ipod nano 2nd is more expensive than the 3rd generation. which one should i get? i have about 1300 songs and im not planning on stopping there. i dont care for videos, im just using it for music. i like the big screen on the 3rd generation but i like the way the 2nd one feels in the hand.
I just bought a 3rd gen nano to replace my older nano and greatly prefer the new one over the old. The 3rd generation nano is even smaller than it looks in the ads. I would try going to stores and trying out each one if you are worried it will feel too awkward. The new nano has a larger, brighter, and sharper screen. The new cover flow feature is also a plus. So I would recommend that you get the 3rd generation, but in the end its all up to what you like the most.

 Q. Ipod nano? i asked for a 3rd generation ipod nano for christmas, so im wondering a few things about it....
is it good?
is it durable/does it break or freeze easily?
how long does your battery really last?
is it easy to get videos on?
do you have to buy every song you put on there?
can you only use itunes to get music on there?
will it only work with special ipod headphones?
is the battery rechargeable?
and overall would you recommend it?
thanks, im like totally new with anything ipod related. haha
I love my new nano! i upgraded from the first generation, and i am so glad i did. I have had issues with mine freezing, and it will stop working for a day or so then start working again. I will listen to music and play Solitaire, and I can get a good 8 hours or so off of that (and the games kill the battery). Videos- still figuring that out! Most of my songs are from my CDs i already owned, but buying iTunes is reasonably cheap, so yeah. You have to have everything (music, videos, pics) in iTunes, but you can buy off of other sites. Most normal headphones work with iPods- many people don't recommend using the white ones, because it is a tip-off to thieves. The battery is rechargable. I would totally recommend it- it's sooo amazingly awsum!

 Q. Ipod nano?? i just bought a new ipod nano. i want to take around 500 songs off of my old ipod and put them on the new ipod nano. is there anyway i can do this???
Unless you have the songs from your old iPod already in your iTunes library, you wont be able to do this easily. Because of Apple crappy sharing rules, you are not able to Upload songs from your ipod, only download and sync from the current iTunes library associated with that iPod.
If the music is already in your library, you will be good to go. Just connect your new iPod and iTunes will ask you to assign the library and away you go.

 Q. Ipod nano? to those of you that have an ipod nano, i wanted to ask for one for christmas and i was wondering if you think this is worth asking for? and if it isn't, which one would be better? i have never had an mp3 player of any kind, so i wouldn't know how to use one. are they easy to use? please tell me all about the ipod nano.
I just got myself a brand new Nano and love it! They are very easy to use. You do need iTunes, which you can download from apple.com for free. Then you connect your iPod using the included cable and it will walk you through adding songs to it. I prefer to create playlists of songs and instead of auto syncing (where iTunes automatically adds your songs from your Music Library), I prefer to do it manually and drag the playlists I want onto the iPod (which shows in iTunes after it's connected).
I got a 4 gigabyte one which will hold 1000 songs, roughly. You can also put pictures on it but I mostly use mine for music. The colors are really cool...I got the pink one. They are small and because they have a flash drive, it can survive a drop or two but I baby mine so it doesn't get scratched. Go ahead and ask for one...I think you'll like it.

 Q. Ipod nano??????????????//? what is the difference between ipod nano, and ipod nano 2?
which has better sound quality?
is it better than sony mp3 players?
Actually the Sandisk Sansa e200 series players are way better than the iPod Nano. Granted they are slightly larger than the Nano but that is due to the user replaceable battery. When the battery goes bad on the Nano you have to send it in to Apple for 3-4 weeks and pay to have the battery replaced.
In answer to the original question, the iPod Nano 2 is thinner than the original Nano and the sound quality has been slightly improved.

 Q. Ipod nano? i'm trying to figure out how to put movies on my ipod nano? does anyone know how to do that? i tried importing the movie into itunes and then syncing but it didn't work.
Music videos, Movies, Podcasts and Tv shows all go on Video Ipods it may work on th new Ipod Nano video! But it will not work on a normal nano!
Try syncing it onto your Ipod by dragging the video / movie into the Ipod icon... If something comes up saying "This cannot be move because the Ipod does not play the software etc..." then your Ipod is not suited for Movies etc..
